CURATE

Her machinist father turned Japanese landscape designer sought boulders and driftwood in celebration of shape and form. "Thus my LOVE of stone and wood.  Following tradition, my girls now duck beneath my own "boulders" in the form of my own fabulous finds."  

BOLD

I was taught early on that power and grace can co-exist; being raised as a BayArea native in a Corvette and GTO family surrounded by chrome, brass,  sculpture, and ceramics instilled a love for Mid-Centruy design. Each year I attend Modernism in Palm Springs, a celebration of Mid-Century fashion, interior design, and designers.  With the San Jacinto Mountains as backdrop, I am proud to be a part and contribute alongside my ASID friends and colleagues to make this event an annual success. 

INSPIRE

I have yet to see a museum that doesn't amaze me; juxtaposing the old and the new, contrast of color, shape and form.  Blessed to have traveled Europe extensively, my love for art, people and culture always inspires.  Living and working in Paris, London and New York  immersed me in the ancient and contemporary; still igniting a vibe in my personal and professional life.

Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi, Givenchy, Narciso Rodrigues, Issey Miyake and Jean Paul Gaultier- from age 19 to my early 30's I was fortunate to work for these remarkable legacies of fashion.  My extensive exposure to their work and creations have imprinted that luxury, form and complexity of design develops into a celebration of all things fabulous. 

LUXURY

Partnering with an architect for a number of years we developed a local clientele for interiors and exteriors. Lisa Weyland Design established 2009,  works on a large variety of residential and commercial projects in and around the Greater Bay Area. I bring a unique approach to each and every project.  Balanced.  Inspired.  Timeless.
